Sustainable Criminal Justice Solutions Europe (SCJS Europe) With a global outreach, SCJS Europe seeks to build sustainable partnerships at both national and international levels between public administrations with the intent and commitment to deliver effective and sustainable projects. SCJS Europe have worked extensively across the European Union, the Western Balkans, South-East and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, South-East Asia, Central Asia and Turkey.
SCJS Europe is an international not-for-profit organisation established under Belgian law, based in the European district of Brussels. Operating within the European Union and further afield, SCJS Europe works to support the rule of law and the development of criminal justice processes, in line with international standards and ethics. It addresses regional security and justice needs through specific tailored projects. SCJS Europe works across thematic areas such as: CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear); forensic and crime scene investigations; prosecution; disaster victim identification; counter terrorism; intelligence; organised & financial crime; money laundering; crowd control; border control; cybercrime; human trafficking; transit and transhipment control; crisis response.
SCJS Europe has well equipped offices and meeting rooms, situated in the very heart of the European district sector in Brussels. Its permanent staff have extensive EU project management experiences and are geared to ensuring that projects are delivered on time and meet the highest of professional standards. SCJS Europe is well positioned to provide technical, logistical and administrative guidance and support to the management and effective delivery of a CBRN project. SCJS Europe staff have professional experience of delivering specifically CBRN projects in the Middle East in recent years.
The ability to draw upon a wide range of Rule of Law experts, notably in the field of CBRN waste management, border protection, medical preparedness and legislative fields, is one of the organisation’s biggest assets. In addition to its core staff, the organisation has access to hundreds of current and highly skilled experts around the globe. The core team includes four experts who have significant experience of managing EU Centres of Excellence (CoE) CBRN Projects, including project logistics, communications, risk assessment and stakeholder management. As an experienced CBRN Programme lead, SCJS Europe has developed a sound and robust reputation with the European Commission CBRN CoE.
